Christmastime in the Great White North
As many of you may know, my mother was born and raised in Chicago, IL. Her mother and most of her family still live in the surrounding area. It only takes five hours to get there, but we don't make it out there often enough. This year was the exception.

What a crazy week we are in the middle of! Birthdays to celebrate, jigs to dance, and food to cook! Somehow in the midst of it all, I still have to find time to work!

A plea from a geek
Here's the deal: most consumers buy Windows PCs, because that's what they know, and they're the most widely-available. The end result of that is that most people use Internet Exploder Explorer for their Internet browsing needs. It comes on their computer, it seems to work, why not use it? For most people, it's not a conscious decision. It just happens.
